Show Receipts

The Second Amendment wasn’t written for me. It was written to keep me chained-to make sure the only way I died was by design.  Slave codes first, black codes later, then mass incarceration. All gun control is a receipt stamped racist,  But here’s the thing: second chances exist. We remember, we don’t have amnesia. But every second chance must come with receipts. You better show policy change, , you better show me investment in our communities not just photoshoots. Naturally Armed-founded by a brown girl from  Newark, born into chaos, teaching herself how to speak back and how to stand in her truth .

 Our workshops, our range days, my posts, that one woman in Trenton showing the changing face of firearm ownership that’s receipts. That’s the work pushing to show that the Constitution’s skin needs to reflect all. And until every institution pays up, we keep counting. Every second chance comes with a receipt. We are keeping the ledger.

And we’re all the clerk now. Every apology without action! Stamp denied. Please know that it may never come but the fight continues. We must  strengthen our mental, physical and emotional intelligence to be prepared to fight and call bull when we see it and have the facts, data and evidence to support our stance. Second chances don’t come free. And NaturallyArmed? We aren’t waiting. We’re the line. We’re the ledger. We’re new to this fight but we are here. So , when the next scandal hits, won’t say but- We’ll say: . Now let’s take a real look at this, show me the receipt make it make sense and when it doesn’t call you on it and have what it takes to back it up. Because this fight? It ain’t over till every man and woman gets the same right to protect themselves, without asking without a piece of paper.  And until then, we’re not quiet. We’re not polite. We’re just armed. Naturally.
