When life threw a curveball—a blizzard—at the end of 2A Freedom Fest, I stayed open to opportunity. That’s when Women for Gun Rights invited me to WOFT, a top-notch personal protection training institute. What began as a shelter from canceled flights turned into a transformative experience. I didn’t just observe—I jumped in. It’s one thing to talk about self-protection; it’s another to pressure-test it. Under real stress, I found my training wasn’t just theory—it was instinct. I teach that a firearm is a last resort, not the first. WOFT proved that I live what I teach. Every moment—training, learning, and growing—made me a stronger advocate and teacher. Always seize the moment—because growth happens when you least expect it.
