: Dirt, guns, and good vibes. I started the morning in my storage room, hauling tables, tees from Women for Gun Rights, dry-fire kits, the works. Isaiah pulled up, we threw everything in the truck and hit the Garden State Parkway like a mission. Melissa welcomed us to her backyard oasis-Newark concrete, but here? baby chicks chirping like they owned the block.
We set up, sipped hibiscus tea and tamarind, scooped lentils and spinach. Plants for sale, tinctures everywhere. One lady taught us food-as-medicine; I was like, sign me up for the class. Picked a jade plant-low-maintenance, just like me. (Though attention’s still nice.) Then came my part. Firearm safety ,Civics, 101 .Real talk for real people . Told ‘em why NaturallyArmed started: stress relief. Mom life, wife life, director life-guns turned the chaos volume down.
We did stance, grip, trigger press, then lasers on the SIRTs. No ammo, no drama-just control. A friend my youth I’d known since nineteen came through . She said I looked alive now. Guess that’s what happens when you stop waiting to be saved. One of my paid members Jewel showed up-gave him the mic, let him demo. That’s what this is: share the tools, spread the strength. Farm, food, health, learn, grow, defend. Next one’s bigger. See you there.
